A mustard package or mustard plaster is a simple but effective home treatment used to relieve pain and inflammation, especially for colds, respiratory illnesses and muscle and joint pain.

Product Properties:

Warming effect. Mustard contains essential oils which, when applied to the skin, irritate the nerve endings and cause blood flow to the area of application. This results in a warming effect that helps reduce pain and inflammation.

Irritant effect. Irritation of nerve endings also causes a distracting effect, which can help reduce pain in other parts of the body.

Antibacterial effect. Mustard has some antibacterial properties that can be useful in treating infections.

Recommended use:

Colds and coughs: a mustard compress on the chest or back can help relieve coughs and sore throats.
Bronchitis: a mustard compress on the chest can help dissolve phlegm and make breathing easier.
Myositis: a mustard compress on the area of muscle inflammation can help reduce pain and inflammation.
Arthritis: a mustard compress on joints can help reduce pain and inflammation.
Headache: a mustard compress on the back of the head or temples can help relieve headache.

Suggested use:

Bath. Shake the bag horizontally to ensure even distribution across all four cells. Without changing the position of the bag, lower it into water at a temperature of 37-39°C. Duration of the bath is 5–8 minutes. After bathing, rinse with warm water and cover yourself warmly for 30–60 minutes.

Local baths (for feet). Soak a sachet of mustard powder in hot water, then immerse your feet in the water. Bathing time 15–20 minutes. After the bath put on warm socks and cover yourself with a warm blanket for 30–60 minutes. The procedure is recommended to be carried out daily, the number of recommended procedures is at least 5 times.

Dry mustard baths. Place the sachet in your socks overnight.

Contraindications:

Individual sensitivity to the components. Do not apply to damaged skin. It may cause irritation.

Storage conditions:

Store at a temperature of +5 to +25 ° C in a place protected from direct sunlight, with a relative humidity of no more than 85%. Keep out of the reach of children.
