The substance is absorbed by the human body only in hydrolyzed form. Collagen hydrolyzate contains modified forms of the amino acids proline and lysine, oxyproline and oxylysine. Their entry into the body allows faster recovery and strengthening of connective tissue, especially after injuries and in the postoperative period.
Collagen hydrolysate is effective, first of all, for amending the nutrition of athletes with heavy loads on joints and ligaments for the purpose of prevention and rehabilitation. The ratio of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus is optimal for the assimilation of these minerals, which are necessary for strengthening the skeletal and muscular system. Vitamin D3 regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body and is responsible for the integrity of bones. It regulates mineral metabolism and promotes the deposition of calcium in bone tissue. Vitamin D3 maintains the level of inorganic phosphorus and calcium in the blood plasma above the threshold value and increases the absorption of calcium in the intestine.
