About the Product
Red clay is a natural product for the care of sensitive, redness-prone, and tired skin. It gently cleanses the epidermis, helps improve blood microcirculation, and alleviates manifestations of allergic reactions.
Thanks to its enriched mineral composition, the clay normalizes sebaceous gland activity, reduces itching, flaking, and oily shine on both the face and scalp.
A special feature of red clay is its ability to nourish and restore the skin, as well as provide a light lifting effect, helping to “control” involuntary facial expressions (especially in the forehead area) and smooth wrinkles.
Main Properties:
- gently removes impurities and softens the skin;
- helps prevent redness, irritation, and allergic reactions;
- helps restore the tone of tired skin;
- helps eliminate excessive oily shine, itching, flaking, and manifestations of seborrhea;
- helps smooth expression wrinkles and improve skin elasticity;
- can be used as part of regular home care;
- 100% natural composition: contains no artificial colorants, flavorings, or synthetic preservatives.
Natural red clay has a specific, slightly noticeable natural earthy aroma and a characteristic rich shade due to the high content of natural iron and copper oxides. This indicates the complete authenticity and purity of the mineral. The smell completely disappears after rinsing the product off with water.

Who Is Red Cosmetic Clay Suitable For?
The product is recommended as an element of regular home care for skin and hair. It is recommended for people who:
- have sensitive, tired skin prone to temporary redness or irritation;
- seek to reduce excessive oily shine on the face and the tendency to flaking;
- want to improve skin tone, elasticity, and visually smooth fine expression wrinkles;
- are looking for a natural product for scalp care when prone to seborrhea or hair brittleness;
- appreciate natural eco-friendly cosmetics for balneological procedures and home baths.
For children, pregnant women, and individuals with pronounced skin damage, prior consultation with a physician or dermatologist is recommended before use.
Recommendations for Use
Recommended for use in cosmetology, balneology, and daily home care as a natural cosmetic and preventive product for improving the condition of the skin of the face, body, and hair.
Directions for Use
Use non-metallic containers to prepare cosmetic products. Dissolve the clay in warm water in a 1:1 ratio and mix thoroughly until a thick sour cream consistency is obtained.
1. Cosmetic face masks. Apply the prepared mixture in a thin layer to cleansed skin. Gently rub the clay along massage lines with wet fingers for 2–3 minutes. Leave the mask on for 10–15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water and apply a moisturizing or nourishing cream.
Frequency: 2–3 times a week. Red clay masks help tighten pores, restore skin firmness, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
2. Hair and scalp care. Add one egg yolk to the base mixture (clay with water). Rub the mask into the scalp, wrap with a towel, and leave for 15–20 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
Effect: the clay helps strengthen hair follicles and helps prevent hair brittleness and hair loss.
3. Care baths (for hands, elbows, and feet). Help remove keratinized epidermal cells, soften rough skin, and promote healing of microcracks and minor damage.
Preparation: dilute 1 tablespoon of clay in 1 liter of warm water. Immerse hands or feet in the solution for 20–30 minutes. The procedure may be performed daily.
Scientific Research
- Cosmetic clays may affect skin oiliness, firmness, and texture. A 2025 study examined cosmetic formulations containing a mixture of red, green, and black clays. The authors evaluated the short-term effects after mask application on sebum regulation, firmness/elasticity, and biomechanical properties of the skin. - Clays have cleansing and adsorption properties. A review in Cosmetics describes clays as ingredients used in cosmetics due to their ability to absorb excess skin sebum, moisture, and impurities. This explains the use of clay masks for oily, combination, and shine-prone skin. Source: The Scenario of Clays and Clay Minerals Use in Cosmetics/Dermocosmetics
- Clays can function as gentle cleansing and protective components. A review in International Journal of Pharmaceutics explains that the dermocosmetic use of clays is related to their physicochemical properties: fine-dispersed structure, sorption capacity, ion-exchange properties, and the ability to form a covering layer on the skin surface.
