The combination of Omega-3, D3 and K2 is an example of nutritional synergy, where each component enhances the effect of the others. The main advantage of this product lies in the mechanism of calcium transport and deposition; 

• Vitamin D3 ensures the absorption of calcium into the bloodstream through the intestines.
• Vitamin K2 (MK-7) activates proteins that “draw” this calcium from the blood and direct it into bone tissue. Without K2, calcium may deposit on the walls of blood vessels, causing their stiffness (calcification). 
• Omega-3 acts as a lipid medium. Since D3 and K2 are fat-soluble, they require fats for absorption. Omega-3 in the formula serves as an ideal carrier, ensuring maximum bioavailability without the need to seek additional dietary fat sources.

Active ingredients:

OMEGA-3 acids are not synthesized by the body in sufficient amounts, therefore they must be obtained from external sources. The EPA/DHA ratio is shifted toward supporting vascular health and combating chronic inflammation.

Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) reduces blood viscosity, which prevents blood clots from forming. It also stabilizes heart rhythm.

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) makes up about 20% of all fats in the cerebral cortex. It is necessary for the transmission of nerve impulses. Adequate DHA levels are associated with a reduced risk of depressive states and age-related cognitive decline. Both fatty acids are incorporated into cell membranes, making them more flexible and permeable to nutrients.

Vitamin D3 affects more than 2,000 genes in the body. It is involved in the synthesis of serotonin (“happiness hormone”) and the regulation of the sleep cycle. It activates T-lymphocytes and macrophages, which are responsible for recognizing and eliminating pathogens. Adequate levels of vitamin D3 reduce the risk of developing autoimmune diseases. It also supports cellular sensitivity to insulin, which is important for blood sugar control.

Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone-7) activates proteins that act as inhibitors of tissue calcification. This helps “clean” blood vessels from excess calcium. It promotes remineralization of dentin, which strengthens teeth from within.  It also helps regulate energy metabolism and may improve physical endurance by enhancing oxygen delivery to tissues through healthier, more flexible blood vessels.

Recommendations for use:

Dietary supplement to the diet can be used as a source of omega 3 fatty acids from fish oil, vitamins D3 and K2. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.
