Corn Silk is widely used in pharmacology. It has choleretic, diuretic, hemostatic and hypoglycemic properties. It contains saponins, tannins, bitter glycosides, flavonoids, alkaloids, essential oil, fatty oil, sterols (stigmasterol, sitosterol), vitamins K and C, trace elements and other substances. 

Corn silk has a complex choleretic effect. By increasing the secretion of bile, they reduce its viscosity and reduce the amount of bilirubin. 

Corn silk is effective for treating kidneys, especially nephritis, urinary tract inflammation and urolithiasis. It also has a diuretic effect. 

In folk medicine, the properties of corn silk are additionally valuable: they have a sedative effect and relieve nervous tension. Also, corn silk is used to improve the functioning of the stomach, pancreas and normalize metabolism, in particular in case of disorders of water-salt, lipid and carbohydrate metabolism. 

An important place is given to corn silk in dietetics to combat extra pounds. It reduces appetite, while slightly calming the nervous system, stimulate the digestive system and metabolism, accelerate carbohydrate metabolism, and provide the body with vitamins and microelements

Suggested use:

Take one teaspoon of the product with 200 ml of hot water and leave it to brew for 10–15 minutes. Drink as needed.

Individual sensitivity to the product components.

Store in a dry place, away from the direct sunlight, at a temperature of +5°C to +25°C. Keep out of the reach of children.
