The fruiting body of Agarikon is perennial, thick, hoof-shaped or elongated, almost cylindrical in shape, 20-30 cm long, whitish or yellowish in color, furrowed with dirty yellow or brownish-brown zones. Agarikon extract is often used as an ingredient for weight loss programs in Japan.
