Lemon Balm Herb contains essential oil (0.05-0.33%), which includes citral, linalool, geraniol, citronellal, myrcene, aldehydes, tannins (up to 5%), bitterness, mucilage, organic acids (succinic, caffeic, chlorogenic, oleanolic and ursolic), sugars (stachyose), mineral salts.

Lemon Balm Herb has been successfully used in traditional and scientific medicine in many countries of the world for more than 2,000 years as an antispasmodic agent that regulates the work of the digestive system, as a a pain reliever, as well as in tonic baths for furunculosis, dermatitis, and skin rashes.
